Shopper notice
For customers who see an offer after an order. Short version: why am I seeing offers?
What Munja is
Munja is a technology service that a business you just bought from (the “merchant”) uses to show you offers from other businesses (“partners”). The merchant sent Munja your name, email and some order details so offers could be picked for you.
What you agree to when you choose an offer
Nothing is shared with a partner unless you choose its offer. The line next to the button says exactly what is shared. Today that is your name and email, shared with that one partner so it can contact you about that offer. Choosing an offer is not a purchase, and Munja never charges you anything. The choice is not consent to phone calls or text messages.
We keep a record of your choice: the words you saw, the time, your browser type, and one-way hashes of your email and network address. This is how a partner, a merchant or a regulator can check what you agreed to.
MUNJA IS NOT A PARTY TO ANY OFFER AND DOES NOT ENDORSE OR GUARANTEE ANY PARTNER, PRODUCT, INSURANCE, LOAN OR SERVICE. ANY AGREEMENT YOU MAKE IS BETWEEN YOU AND THE PARTNER, ON THE PARTNER'S TERMS. CHECK AN OFFER'S DETAILS WITH THE PARTNER BEFORE YOU BUY. MUNJA IS PROVIDED “AS IS” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS.
Age
Offers are meant for adults. If you are under 18, please do not choose an offer.
Your data and choices
To stop offers, or to get, correct or delete your information, email privacy@getmunja.com. A partner that already received your name and email keeps its own copy; ask it directly too. The privacy policy has the details. Nothing in this notice limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
